The US Coast Guard is finalizing without change its December 13, 2010 interim rule codifying traffic separation schemes (TSSs) in the approaches to Portland, Maine; in the approaches to Boston; in the approaches to Narragansett Bay and Buzzards Bay; and in the approaches to the Cape Fear River; and updating the then-current regulations for the TSS in the approaches to Chesapeake Bay.

The final rule comes into effect on May 26.
