The Sea Education Association will be hosting a three-day, professional Bridge Resource Management Course on Feb. 8-10 (Tues.-Thurs). This U.S.

Coast Guard-approved course satisfies the requirements of 46 CFR 10.205

(3)(o) and STCW Code, Section B-VIII/2, and is valid for licenses up to 1,600 GRT.

The course is taught over three 8-hour days on the SEA Campus in Woods Hole, Mass., and features extensive discussions of case studies and hypothetical situation exercises. Topics include voyage planning, decision making, stress/fatigue management, leadership, watchstanding, emergency management, pilot integration, and additional topics specific to sail training vessel operations.

Fee is $550. Lodging on the SEA campus and lunches are included in the fee. 100% attendance is required for completion, and certificates are issued at the end of the class.
